Barb Piburn

Office Manager

Barbara Piburn is the office manager for Calvary 88.5, which means she tries to keep the guys in line at the station. She accepted the Lord at church camp as a teenager. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Mike. They have two married daughters & three grandchildren. Barb & Mike have been diligently involved in the pastorate & church planting for sixteen years.

Glenn Williams

Chief Engineer

Glenn Williams is the Chief Engineer for Calvary 88.5.  He is responsible for every technical aspect of our radio ministry.  Glenn designed and constructed Calvary's student-run radio station, Calvary 1640.   Recently, he had the opportunity to embark on a special missions trip to Pickle Lake, Canada to help build a native-language Christian radio network.

He and his wife Joy have been missionaries since 1991. Glenn served nine years at the Rio Grande Bible Institute, first as Chief Engineer and later as Director of Operations for Radio Esperanza before serving at Calvary Bible College.

Glenn's walk with the Lord began in 1986 on his way to work. A young man offered him a tract at the Staten Island ferry terminal.  En route to Manhattan, as the ferry floated by the Statue of Liberty, Glenn bowed his head and offered his life to the Lord.

Jacob Bluebaugh

Production Assistant

Jacob Bluebaugh is a Production Asistant for Calvary 88.5.  He grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ in 1992.  He is currently a junior at Calvary Bible College, seeking a degree in Advanced Biblical Studies.  Jacob enjoys coffee, cooking, audio mixing and fishing/hunting.

John Raven

Production Assistant

John Raven is the production assistant and Sunday afternoon host for Calvary 88.5.  John is a 2008 graduate of Calvary Bible College with a degree in Christian Broadcasting.  Along with producing imagning and spots, John is very active with the station in its reading program, van stops and interacting with listeners around the Kansas City area.  John was married in July of 2008 to his wife Hannah.  Their son, Asher, was born on May 19th.  John enjoys soccer, hunting and spending time with his family.  

Kevin Stone

Overnight Show Host

Kevin Stone hosts the overnight show and "Calvary Praise" on Sundays. As a child, he accepted Jesus as Savior, and he's had a lifelong love of radio. He first started working for Calvary 88.5 in 1985. Kevin is the pastor of Overbrook Bible Church. He is married to Angela, and they have three children. Kevin is also a drama teacher and a published playwright.

Michael Randall

Afternoon Show Host

Michael Randall is the Afternoon Show Host & serves as the Program Director for Calvary 88.5. He grew up in a Christian home & received the gift of salvation as a boy. Following God's leading to Calvary Bible College he graduated with a B.S. degree in Christian Broadcasting/Advanced Biblical Studies and was blessed with a wife. He was married on July 24, 2004. Michael now has a daughter, Lucy, and his wife is expecting their second child. Michael loves playing golf & enjoys following his favorite sports teams.

News Anchor

Mike Ferguson brings over 15 years' experience to Calvary 88-5 with his morning newscasts. He has been a television assignment editor for a network affiliate, a newspaper reporter and has worked in radio as a reporter, producer, anchor and talk show host. Mike is also the producer and host on the online public affairs TV show "Missouri Viewpoints". In addition, Mike is also the founder of Focal Point Communications, a public and media relations business. He has been active in his community for many years and currently serves on the Grandview Board of Aldermen. Mike grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as his savior when he was a young child. His father is a pastor (now in Emporia, KS) and his mother is a school teacher. He and his children, Austin and Amber, are active members of Southland Baptist Church and dedicated Mizzou Tigers fans. The rest of the Ferguson family consists of five fish: Shark, Tiger, Rainbow, Bessie and Winston. http://www.mikefergusononline.com

TJ Jackson

Mid-Day Host

T.J. is Promotions Director and Host of the Mid-Day show. He calls Division I volleyball, men's and women's soccer and women's basketball for the University of Missouri Kansas City. T.J. has called everything from Division I Conference Championships to a College Bowl game. He is also a fill-in broadcaster for UMKC basketball on Metro Sports here in Kansas City.  T.J. is also a huge Royals & Chiefs fan. He and his wife Holly have two daughters named Chloe and Mia.

Wayne and Kimberly Jo

Go Show Host

Wayne got his start in radio in 1990 at WBSN New Orleans where he did the morning show and worked as Program Director. He received his education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Calvary Theological Seminary and has pastored churches in Louisiana and Missouri. In addition to his on air work at Calvary 88.5, Wayne is the Station Manager and teaches broadcasting classes at Calvary Bible College.

Kimberly Jo got her start in radio by making “guest appearances” with Wayne when they lived in New Orleans. Her pleasant attitude, quick wit and big heart made her an instant hit with listeners. In addition to her on air responsibilities, Kimberly Jo has her life/health insurance license and is an Account Manager for Heritage Benefit Consultants, an insurance broker’s office. Kimberly Jo is also involved in drama ministry and is a woman’s Bible study leader and speaker. 

Wayne and Kimberly Jo have been married for 24 years and have 4 children, Rachael, Joshua, Rebekah and Jonathan and a previous miniature Yorkshire terrier named, “Hershey”.
